Cat’s Candles prides itself on their cruelty-free, small-business approach. Each batch of candles is handmade. No factories, no animal testing, no corporations. Just Gabrielle, wax, and a vision.

How We Got Our Name

The name Cat’s Candles derives from the owner Gabrielle’s last name, Catanese! Her father, Glenn, created it as a fun play on words people could remember!

Gabrielle started making candles on a whim before the COVID pandemic began. She started using small supplies and selling to friends and family before using saved babysitting money and taking a plunge into the world of candles! Since then business has been booming and over a thousand candles have been sold!

  • Cat’s Candles are made from all-natural soy wax, which is ethically farmed in the USA. We use fragrance oils, which are a bit different from essential oils. Fragrance oils are explicitly created for candles, whereas essential oils are made for diffusers!

  • Four-ounce candles burn for up to twenty hours. Eight-ounce candles burn for up to forty-five hours. Twenty-ounce candles burn for up to 65 hours! The whipped candles with the whipped wax part can burn for up to fifty hours and up to forty-five without the whipped part.

  • Yes! We offer the option of custom orders. Just fill out the form here and we’ll reach out with a quote.

  • Cat’s Candles are pet-friendly, but we advise you to know what your pets are allergic to. Some pets are allergic to and have had reactions that have led to death to scents with pure cinnamon and tea tree oil. This is primarily with essential oils in diffusers, but it can happen in extreme cases with pets!
