What are your candles made of?

Cat’s Candles are made from all-natural soy wax, which is ethically farmed in the USA. We use fragrance oils, which are a bit different from essential oils. Fragrance oils are explicitly created for candles, whereas essential oils are made for diffusers!

How long do the candles burn for?

Four-ounce candles burn for up to twenty hours. Eight-ounce candles burn for up to forty-five hours. Twenty-ounce candles burn for up to 65 hours! The whipped candles with the whipped wax part can burn for up to fifty hours and up to forty-five without the whipped part.

Are these candles pet-friendly?

Cat’s Candles are pet-friendly, but we advise you to know what your pets are allergic to. Some pets are allergic to and have had reactions that have led to death to scents with pure cinnamon and tea tree oil. This is primarily with essential oils in diffusers, but it can happen in extreme cases with pets!

Will black smoke come off my candle?

No black smoke should come off your candle if you take proper care of it! Be sure before lighting every one of your candles that you are cutting your wicks to 1/4th of an inch every single time! Trimming the wick prevents any soot and potential fire hazard you may have!

Is it possible to get a special order?

How did Cat’s Candles get their name?

The name Cat’s Candles derives from the owner Gabrielle’s last name, Catanese! Her father, Glenn, created it as a fun play on words people could remember!
